Their music incorporates the sounds of contemporary Africa such as UK Funky, Dancehall, Kwaito, Kuduro and Hip-Hop while remaining rooted in traditions of pan-African philosophy. James Wonder Producer/Film Maker/Actor James Wonder A.K.A. Angelo Jefferson was born and raised in BrooklynNew York and then he moved up to Harlem when he was around 14 years old. Music has always played a major role in his life as a youth. He grew up observing is older brother, who was a DJ at the time that spun, mixed, and played free-styled urban reggae music. However It wasn’t until he moved to the upper west side housing shelter called (V.O.A) when he discovered one of his true talents as an M.C.
James became aware of his talent when he came across a group of kids who used to freestyle rhymes off the top of their heads, this ability quickly gained the interest of this young man. It wasn’t until he traveled to Japan at the age of 21 when he began to take his talent more seriously.
The social, economical, and cultural conditions that James faced while living in Japan were extremely difficult for him. He was homeless, had no one he could truly call his friend, and a huge language barrier that consistently caused issues on a day to day basis. The difficult problems that James faced made him gain a certain connection with his Lord, which gave him the determination and will power to become the person he is today. I came to Japan with the equivalent of 30 US dollars about 11 years ago. And I slept in Starbucks in the morning then I worked at a night club called “Club Nature” in the heart of Roppongi which is known for being the Mecca for foreigners in Japan.
My ability to communicate with all walks of life gradually made me one of the most outstanding figures in the community. I went from street hustler in New York to a respectable business man in Japan. My success wasn’t made over night. I now own an English School and Operate multiple businesses which also includes a small talent agency. I have also appeared numerous times on Japanese T.V. and I feel it’s time to show the world my light. LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE James wonder!

Motown Moe is a Piano/keyboard player, producer music engineer originally from Detroit. Moe has completed over six solo projects and has worked with a number of artists and musicians from all parts of the globe, included among them smooth jazz notables producer/pianist Nate Harasim and guitarist Daniel Domenge. Moe’s music has been played on numerous stations across America and the world. Motown Moe has received smooth jazz chart status making it on numerous charts as most added to play list and also reaching smooth jazz.com radar charts for a number of weeks. Motown Moe song “Unconditional Love” was also added to the Weather Channels, Weather on the 8’s national broadcasts. Moe is currently working on a new project with hopes of a summer release. This artist music is sometimes categorized as a cross between chill out or smooth jazz, because of his distinctive use of synt hesized pad layers on his tracks and for not always staying within boundaries of what’s considered as commercial instrumental music. Motown Moe’s next project will be a blend of chill, funk, smooth jazz, and neo soul as he is collaborating with a super bassist who is well known within the music industry, along with a host of other guest artists and producers who will make this a musically well balanced release. Moe is also looking for new and established artists, mainly instrumentalist and in some cases singers looking for a different vibe to their productions.
Three Fifs – With the release of “The Runaway EP” in January of 2012, Fifs marked the beginning of his career in rap. Videos for the singles “Dred Scott,” “Dive in Deep,” and “Whips & Chains” gained many immediate fans and supporters for the message and the story behind the videos. With his following release, “Birth of a Nation,” Fifs targeted more mass appeal with commercialized records such as “Castro” featuring established west coast emcee Mistah F.A.B. and fellow St. Louis upstart Streetza Ria.
In every society, there exist a power structure ensuring that those in the top positions in the socio-economic realm remain there and those deemed outcasts remain at the bottom. In America, that structure has always been determined by wealth and skin color. During the mid 20th century, many Black social leaders sought to challenge and overturn this hierarchy, and over the course of time, each of these leaders was taken out either by assassination of life or assassination of character. One of the most notable of these leaders was Malcolm X, and on February 21, 1965, he was killed while delivering a speech aimed at bringing African-Americans closer together. Twenty-two years later to the day, a new leader fated to carry the torch of the past was born in St. Louis, MO. Through rap lyrics driven by historically referenced concepts, Three Fifs steps to the forefront of rap as a v oice of change and progress.
Born to unwed parents and raised in University City, Three Fifs was born with severe complications from sickle cell anemia, and as a result of this disease, saw the Intensive Care Unit on several occasions as a child. The oldest of six, Fifs has always been in a position of leadership and carries this experience into his daily persona as he aims to lead a new generation of listeners longing for a Tupac-like figure in the rap scene. Having gone from homelessness and Section 8 living as a child to middle class suburbs during his adolescent years, Fifs can relate to people on nearly every side of the societal spectrum and uses these experiences to craft poignant, heartfelt lyrics that most listeners can find parts of themselves in. Always a top student, Fifs graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and was poised for law school until a spiritual awakening led him to a career in music.
< br /> Following a tumultuous freshman year in college that included losing his full-ride scholarship, losing his Uncle to cancer, broken relationships with former best friends and high school girlfriends, and battles with sickle cell disease, Fifs was on the brink of suicide. Driving down a dark, lonely stretch of highway, Fifs decided to close his eyes, let go of the steering wheel, and floor his car off the side of the road, however, right when he closed his eyes and released the wheel, he felt a force enter the car that turned his radio up, and all he could hear over the speakers was “…We must remember that tomorrow comes after the dark, and you will always be in my heart with unconditional love.” With the inspiration of Tupac coming through the speakers, Fifs regained control of his car, and simultaneously, his life. That night, he wrote his first song and knew that his calling was to use his words to inspire and uplift generations of listeners much in the way his earliest influence, Tupac had.
With the release of “The Runaway EP” in January of 2012, Fifs marked the beginning of his career in rap. With “Birth of a Nation,” Fifs has given out more than 12,000 free copies digitally, and sold another 40,000 with his biggest fanbase coming from the state of California. In recent months, Fifs is a two-time 2nd Place Winner on Coast 2 Coast LIVE: Online Edition for his videos “Castro” and “Jim Crow,” a two-time 1st Place Winner on Coast 2 Coast LIVE: KC and Chicago Editions, and has gotten airplay on DJ King Assassin’s radio show. In the co ming months, Fifs will be featured on a compilation album helmed by Tory “Flossy the Boss” Harrelson, president of Mack 10s Hoo Bangin’ Records and has been selected to perform in bot the St. Louis Underground Music Festival (SLUMFest) and the St. Louis Fringe Festival. From his record label Triangle Trade Entertainment Group, Fifs will soon be launching his artists SharpShooter and O So Amazin’ as well as getting this in place for both a national and a Black College tour.
Having just recently began his career in music, it is already evident that Fifs is serious. Creative marketing schemes and an image and message that is vastly different from anything currently in the mainstream will propel Fifs into super-stardom for a long time to come. In a country where the power structure deemed African-Americans subhuman with the designation of being three-fifths of a person, St. Louis’s newest lyricist aims to “become something more.” http://www.palacemusicgroup.com

Most stories about the ‘American Dream’ either begins at the bottom with the world watching your rise to the top or we witness the unfortunate fall from grace. Whether it’s movies or music, the grey area, the backbone of our very nation is taken for granted. The Middle Class is the engine that keeps America running in a time where wealth and high fashion is glorified.

J. Kendall drops the first Visual from his freshly released debut album “Moving Forward”. This soulful and true RnB gem, also the title track from the album, gives you a good insight into the man behind this memorable voice. An added bonus is the albums intro track “What I Want” included in this double-feature video. Enjoy!
J. Kendall’s newest release, “Moving Forward”, is a perfectly balanced collaboration of his classically smooth singing with the inventive beat making prowess of respected Sacramento veteran N8 the Gr8. Floating, psychedelic soul synths sweep around the sophisticated vocal harmonies, describing tales of love, lust and loneliness in the days and nights of a modern hustle. N8 the Gr8 , whose past tracks have been laced by the likes of Talib Kweli, Devin the Dude and Gucci Mane, creates an expansive spectrum of sounds for this project. From nostalgic, smooth R&B and sexy club hits to eccentric, futuristic compositions spiced with the proper effects, this album stays diverse and exciting throughout all 12 tracks. Guest spots from seasoned spitters Spends Quality and Equipto and angelic vocals from up and coming siren Maryann complete the recipe.
As we welcome Kanye West back to earth and he brings back in his clutch his highly anticipated Yeezus album, we all know Good DJs always have the upper hand on music no matter what. Like clockwork we receive a offering from Houston’ s own, DJ AudiTory touching the very artsy album with his own brush painting it purple. The dynamic of Chopping & Screwing the entire album changes the whole feel of the project, giving each song a different emotion and soul. DJ AudiTory gives himself a title of executive-executive producer on his take of the new release, sip slow and enjoy.

Maryann turns up the heat with her brand new single “Nothing You Could Say”. Far from a loss of words, Maryann takes a sharp turn from her RnB songstress role and gives you something new. After pairing with underground Hip-Hop producer N8 the Gr8 she released a full length, true- to form RnB record last summer. Since the release of her album “Timing Is Everything” Maryann has put out five tracks/visuals from her upcoming release titled “Futuristic Always”. The new record is already sprinkled with features from the likes of Devin the Dude, Guilty Simpson, and Chuuwee. Aside from writing her songs and songs for others, dabbling in production and graphics, she is also co-directing and editing numerous videos including this one. Maryann is proving that she is not a one hit wonder and is more of the new style hybrid artist it takes to make a lasting impression. The song and visual are her commentary about the industry, and feelings she has built up during her recent experiences. Packing more than a punch, this is not the first, or last you will hear from this blossoming artist.
RnB newcomer, Bianca Rodriguez serenades her listeners with the
release of her debut project entitled “Solitude”.
The project is an ode to music and free expression.
It describes her personal journey through a period of isolation, freedom, and creativity.
The mellow vibe matched with her silky smooth vocals invite your ears
to explore the various emotions she experiences.
Enjoy!

ABOUT SOUL KHAN:
With hip-hop being a culture predicated on keeping it “real,” few artists have a reality as compelling and unique as Soul Khan’s. Born in Los Angeles, but currently residing in Brooklyn, Khan’s meteoric rise over the past four years has transcended being a viral sensation into one of the most buzzed about indie-rap superstars today. In an industry obsessed with catering to every short-lived trend, Khan has stayed true to himself and amassed an impressively loyal following in the process.
Soul Khan’s never compromised his character into a caricature, allowing for a genuine perspective as multidimensional as his listeners’. Whether he’s taking his audience on a journey of emoting empathy from the struggles he’s witnessed, has them laughing along with his razor-sharp punchlines, or leading them in salute to his personal heroes (including the late Minnesota Senator Paul Wellstone, the subject of his recent Wellstone EP.), Khan plays many hands with the execution of an expert. This is why he’s also in such high demand for collaborating with such artists as Homeboy Sandman, Sene, and Marco Polo.
With five critically acclaimed EPs and an album, 2010’s Soul Like Khan, that has been downloaded over 100,000 times, Khan’s received his fair share of press. MTV, BET, Complex, URB and Forbes have all prominently featured his project, often citing his unparalleled work ethic and strong consistency, thanks in part to being a member of New York underground sensations Brown Bag All Stars. With projects that stay true to his pedigree and always deliver on his promises, Khan’s made believers out of such hip-hop icons as DJ Premier, Large Professor and Scarface.

TURK – BIO
New Orleans-based rapper, Turk, was first discovered in 1996 when the owners of Cash Money Records (brothers Ronald “Slim” Williams and Brian “Baby” Williams) discovered him rapping and rhyming in the nearby Magnolia projects. Later that same year,Turk made his recording debut with a cameo on Juvenile’s solo debut, Solja Rags. Turk was billed as Young Turk, and welcomed into the newly formed Hot Boys (who also included Juvenile, B.G., and Lil Wayne), issuing Get It How U Live!in 1997 and Guerilla Warfare two years later. Turk continued to make cameos on other rapper’s recordings, including Juvenile’s big hits, 400 Degreez and Tha G-Code, Lil Wayne’s Tha Block Is Hot and Lights Out, as well as B.G.’s It’s All on U, Vol. 1 and It’s All on U, Vol. 2. June 2001 saw the release of Turk’s solo debut, Young and Thuggin’, on Universal Records. Turk recorded Untamed Guerilla for Cash Money as a follow-up, but soon jumped ship to Koch, following in the footsteps of B.G. Untamed Guerilla remained unreleased and Turk made his Koch debut in 2003 with Raw and Uncut. In January 2004, Turk was in a Memphis, TN, apartment when narcotics officers and SWAT team members stormed in. According to police, Turk allegedly shot an officer during the drug raid; however, the rapper claimed he was hiding in the closet without a gun. At a preliminary hearing a charge of first-degree attempted murder was reduced to second-degree attempted murder, but Turk was granted bail in the state but was not granted bail in the feds. He was awaiting trial in prison as his third album,Penitentiary Chances, hit the streets in April 2004. After 8 years 8 months and 16 days Turk was released from prison on October 12, 2012, and has hit the ground running, doing interviews, making appearances, and getting in plenty of studio time. Turk has since started his own label YNT Empire with a lot of great up and coming artists on his roster. Turk’s first project since his prison release, Blame It On The System is available now on datpiff.com and livemixtapes.com. Turk has written a book of his life The AutoThugography of Turk, a screenplay for the movie of his life titled RECKLESS, and is reaching back to those in prison with his magazine, YNT Incarcerated.
